Assessment for behavior of axially loaded reinforced concrete columns strengthened by different patterns of steel-framed jacket

Abstract Rehabilitation, upgrading, or strengthening of structural members, especially columns, has become the target many researchers because columns are most important members in a building and failure causes direct collapse building. This study aims to get an assessment best pattern steel-framed jacket used for axially loaded concrete by numerically studying behavior column different cases same amount steel jacket. The consists four angles and/or battens, lacings, battens with lacings. nonlinear analysis program designated as ARCC-SSJ (Analysis Reinforced Concrete Columns Strengthened Steel Jacket) is compare patterns cross-sections single lacing, well lacing taken into account. It found that cross-sectional areas. observed load-carrying capacity increased approximately 1.8 1.15% over alone case angle 60.83 2 ∘ 60.83{2}^{\circ } 74.40 7 74.40{7}^{\circ vertical axis column, respectively.
